New locally owned barbershop opens in downtown San Marcos

The Barber Factory—owned by local Christian Caballero—opened at 212 W. San Antonio St., San Marcos, on June 26.

The shop was previously home to Danny & Barbara's Barbershop.

The Barber Factory offers haircuts for men and women and hair coloring services, including fades. The barbershop also offers tinseling.

Caballero said his goal is to a one stop shop for women and men and emphasized that everyone is welcome.

"We really focus on building self-confidence with every haircut," Caballero said.

Caballero said they are also hoping to offer tattoos and esthetician services including lashes and facials.
