3. Swig to open soon along SH 130 in Hutto
Swig is scheduled to open in Hutto soon, a company representative confirmed with Community Impact.
The Utah-based company specializes in customizable soda drinks, non-soda beverages and energy drinks. Customers can combine a variety of flavors, syrups and creams blended with a classic soda, such as Coke or Dr. Pepper. The site is located next to the Goodwill Star Ranch store in Hutto.

4. Trustees move forward with concept plan for Round Rock High School renovations
Additional parking is planned for a bond-funded renovation at Round Rock High School, with the goal of minimizing traffic congestion, reducing walking distance and strengthening campus security. However, the proposal for facility improvements met some friction when it was shared with the board of trustees for approval.
