Buda Biscuit and Baking Co. is closing its doors at the end of August, according to an Instagram post.
The bakery is owned and operated by Buda local Julia Borregales—who said the bakery was a dream of hers since she was a child, from serving her family out of her playhouse to attending cooking school at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris right out of high school.
"The current economy and the increasing need to focus on family, especially our two amazing children, have made it clear that continuing this venture is no longer sustainable," Borregales said in the post.
Borregales thanked customers for their support and being a part of her journey.
