Texas Rescue Med, an emergency medical services school, opened in San Marcos on Feb. 3.
Emergency medical technician classes are now open for enrollment, and paramedic classes will open in 2026, according to Chief Operations Officer Sarah Kramer.

Classes are offered both in-person and online, and custom courses and training are also available for local departments, according to Kramer.
