The hands-on engineering lab is equipped with industry-standard tools and software, allowing students to practice circuit design, measurement and analysis, offering experience and opportunities for professional certifications in areas such as semiconductors, wireless technologies and Internet of Things—a network of physical devices such as sensors, appliances, vehicles, and industrial machines connected to the internet.

Heritage Association of San Marcos
The association is celebrating 50 years in Central Texas. Established in 1975, the heritage association was founded to support the preservation of historic buildings and to celebrate traditions in San Marcos.
San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce
Three people joined the board of directors following an annual board election in late September, including Jiro DeLoach of Frost Bank, Beth Gibbons of Tanger Outlets San Marcos and Susanne Ritter of Gary Job Corps Center.
