Snooze backs out of Pflugerville development
Snooze A.M. Eatery, which originally planned to open a location inside a new building along SH 130 in Pflugerville, has scrapped that plan, a media contact confirmed on behalf of the company.
The decision came after "reevaluating the upcoming sites in its portfolio," the representative said.

Water bills surge for Pflugerville, Hutto area residents
Across Pflugerville and Hutto, some residents have expressed confusion over utility services after seeing increases in their monthly bills.
Amanda Ross, a Pflugerville resident who moved to the area in October, said while her electricity bill is much lower than when she lived in Austin, she wasn’t expecting the higher water costs.

Leander and Liberty Hill home sale prices decrease in two ZIP codes but rise in one
Home sale prices in Leander and Liberty Hill showed only a slight decline in January 2025 when compared to the previous year. The median home sale price for January 2024 was $479,870, and fell to only $470,000 for 2025. The region also saw marked growth in new and active home listings year over year, with 359 new listings in 2025 compared to 269 last year.

New Braunfels food truck temporarily closes for renovations
Texas Thai—located at 312 E. San Antonio St., in downtown New Braunfels—temporarily closed in the beginning of January for renovations.
The food truck opened in September and offered beef and pork skewers, mango sticky rice and more. Texas Thai will reopen concurrently with Irish bar Kennedy's Tavern with a new menu.
