Beginning the night of May 2, the Loop 1604 westbound main lane exit ramp to the I-10 westbound frontage road will be fully closed through late summer, the Texas Department of Transportation said.
TxDOT representatives said the exit ramp closure is part of the Loop 1604 North expansion project.
TxDOT added westbound main lane motorists wanting to access the I-10 westbound frontage road will be redirected to continue to the I-10 main lanes, take the La Cantera Parkway exit, use the turnaround and head for the eastbound Loop 1604 frontage road under I-10.
From there, motorists may take the left-turn lane to a left-turn signal under Loop 1604 then continue straight to access the I-10 westbound frontage road, TxDOT said.
