IKEA-RBFCU Parkway exit from eastbound Loop 1604 to be permanently closed

Beginning March 25, the eastbound Loop 1604 exit to IKEA-RBFCU Parkway will be permanently closed, according to TxDOT.

The details

This closure is part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Central project, which will add elevated lanes on I-35 from Loop 410 to FM 3009.

Part of this project includes adding an elevated lane access point near Lookout Road, according to the project website.

Following the closure of the IKEA-RBFCU Parkway exit, traffic will use the Lookout Road exit to access the area.
