A full closure for the eastbound and westbound lanes of Evans Road located between the I-35 Frontage Roads will begin on April 12. The turnaround lane at this intersection will also be closed.

As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Central Project, TxDOT has scheduled weekly lane closures along I-35 to prepare for the construction of elevated lanes.
Beginning April 12 at 9 p.m., the section of Evans Road and the turnaround will be fully closed throughout the weekend for drainage improvements. The road is expected to reopen on April 15 at 5 a.m.
