Roadwork on St. Andrews Drive is now complete, with rehabilitation work moving to the Dove Meadows and Silvertree area, according to agenda documents from a Dec. 16 Schertz City Council meeting.
Rehabilitation means removing existing pavement, applying cement stabilization to material underneath, and placing a new layer of pavement on the street, according to agenda documents.
Contractor Kimley-Horn is currently working on road projects in Dove Meadows, Mourning Dove, White Wing, Grey Feather and parts of the Silvertree area. Construction along those streets are expected to be completed in early January.
The $3.58 million project is funded by Schertz SPAM funding.
What’s next
Projected completion on the rehabilitation is spring 2026, with work on Maple Drive to be done after the work in Dove Meadows and Silvertree, according to agenda documents.
