During Cibolo City Council's Sept. 9 meeting, City Manager Wayne Reed said that the $1.9 million project on Deer Creek Boulevard, between Cibolo Valley Drive and Cordero Drive, is estimated to be completed Oct. 27. The project began May 12 and is still on track to be completed on its original timeline, Reed said.
According to the Cibolo Capital Improvements webpage, the reconstruction will add over 24 inches of new stabilized material, roadway surface and new pavement markings. Reed said "flatwork" such as curb and gutter improvements will be completed within the next two weeks, followed by several weeks of roadwork.
The project is part of Cibolo's fiscal year 2025 Capital Improvements Program, according to agenda documents.
