Residents, employees and business owners can give feedback on the San Antonio District Bicycle Plan, which aims to make it easier to ride a bicycle on state roads, according to the TxDOT website.
Through Oct. 9, a survey will be available to the public. The survey highlights the trails throughout the district and allows for feedback on specific trail sections or proposals on new trail routes.
The San Antonio District is one of the four piloting districts throughout the state, with Bryan, Pharr and Laredo being the other three.
Counties that fall within the San Antonio District include:
- Atascosa
- Bandera
- Bexar
- Comal
- Frio
- Guadalupe
- Kendall
- Kerr
- McMullen
- Medina
- Uvalde
- Wilson
Following the closure of the survey, the plans for each district will be completed in early 2024, according to the project website.
