As part of the I-10 Expansion Project, the left westbound main lane from the Zuehl Road exit ramp to Cibolo Creek will be closed May 1-5.

The entire I-10 East Project will address issues with capacity, meeting safety and design standards, and deteriorating pavement due to heavy traffic use.

The section from Loop 1604 to Pfeil Road began in early 2020 and is expected to be complete in 2024. The section from Graytown Road to the Bexar County line is also set to be complete in 2024.

These projects are aimed to construct main lane, ramp and frontage road improvements along a combined 7.8-mile segment of road within the Northeast San Antonio Metrocom.
