Each year, Cibolo city staff awards the Gary Kelly Community Service Award to an individual who has demonstrated exemplary volunteer service to the Cibolo community.

The details

This award was named in honor and memory of Gary Kelly, who served on city commissions, committees and council with a dedication to make a positive difference in Cibolo, according to the city website.

Nominations for the award are being accepted through March 8, allowing residents the opportunity to recognize an individual they feel has contributed to Cibolo.

The nominee must live in the city of Cibolo, and the mayor, council members and employees of the city are not eligible for the award.

To submit a nomination, send a write-up of no more than one page long to City Secretary Peggy Cimics at [email protected]. Nominations must be received by noon March 8.
