Why are you running for city council?

As a resident of Cibolo for 16 years and with nine years of committed service to the community, I’ve learned that while we come from diverse backgrounds, we all share the same priorities: public safety, better roads and responsible spending. I’m running to continue these priorities and provide responsible oversight…

What are the biggest challenges Cibolo is facing?

Cibolo faces the challenge of managing unnecessary spending and debt. Projects like the $4 million park replacement, $1.8 million city hall remodel and $2 million event center divert funds from core priorities. Prioritizing infrastructure projects while minimizing the debt burden on taxpayers is essential for ensuring Cibolo’s responsible growth.

How do you plan on addressing these challenges?

To address these challenges, I will ensure tax dollars are spent responsibly by prioritizing infrastructure and public safety, minimizing debt and challenging unnecessary expenditures. I will hold departments accountable and maintain transparency, asking tough questions to ensure every expenditure aligns with Cibolo’s long-term goals and the taxpayers' best interests.

What will be your top priorities if elected?

I will continue advocating for the wastewater line under Cibolo Creek to support future development, sponsorship of police cadets and more patrol officers to strengthen public safety. I will promote fiscal responsibility by challenging unnecessary spending and ensuring wise use of tax dollars.

Why are you running for city council?

I’m running for city council to aggressively pursue commercial growth, increase city revenue, and reinvest in our community. Our current budget is thin, and infrastructure and services are falling behind. With smart development, we can address these challenges and ensure a stronger future for Cibolo.

What are the biggest challenges Cibolo is facing?

Cibolo’s biggest challenges include overgrown infrastructure, staff shortages across key departments, and insufficient finances to support necessary services. Without additional revenue sources, we struggle to invest in the improvements and resources our growing community needs.

How do you plan on addressing these challenges?

I will collaborate with the State’s economic development team to attract profitable businesses, partner with city staff to make Cibolo a prime business destination, and prioritize infrastructure revitalization. These efforts will generate the revenue needed to address staffing and service challenges, ensuring long-term manageable growth.

What would be your top priorities if elected?

If elected, my top priorities will be attracting new businesses to boost revenue, revitalizing infrastructure to support growth, addressing staffing shortages, ensuring competitive pay for city employees and first responders, and improving communication with residents to foster transparency and gather feedback on community needs.
