The Judson ISD’s board of trustees approved two new principals for the 2025-26 school year on May 15.

Lakisha Valentine will be the new principal at Hartman Elementary School and Ebonisha Davis will take the principal role at Metzger Middle School.

In a nutshell

Valentine will take over as Hartman principal from Monica Rodriguez after spending five years in Judson ISD.

With 22 years of educational experience, she currently serves as assistant principal at Miller’s Point Elementary School. She has previously taught in Georgia, Alabama and Virginia and received an Educational Administration certification from Wayland Baptist University in May 2019.


Davis will be the new principal of Metzger Middle, replacing Loretta Davidson in the role.

She has served in a number of roles at Wagner High School, including her current position as associate principal. Davis was also an algebra teacher, math department chair and math and science academic trainer during her time at Wagner.
