Northeast San Antonio drivers of all ages will soon be able to sharpen their skills in Schertz.

SafeWay Driving is anticipated to open at the Schertz location of H-E-B, next to the H-E-B Fuel gas pumps, on August 1, Manager Bryan Nugent said.

Nugent said the driving school location will serve the Northeast San Antonio area with both online coursework and professional in-car training.

According to the SafeWay website, the driving courses for teens and adults are certified by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, helping over 275,000 Texans earn their license.
