Northbound I-35 frontage road to Rittiman Road
The northbound I-35 frontage road and nearby entrance ramps will be closed from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Jan. 5-9 for bridge work.
According to the press release, drivers who seek to connect with the northbound I-410 South frontage road to Binz Engleman Road are advised to use the signalized turnaround at Binz Engleman Road to enter I-410 South frontage road.
Southbound I-35 frontage road at Walzem Road
Southbound frontage road at Walzem Road and the northbound to southbound U-turn at Walzem Road will be closed from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Jan. 5-9 for bridge work.
According to the press release, drivers on Walzem Road seeking to enter the southbound I-35 mainlanes or frontage road to use the northbound I-35 frontage road U-turn at Walzem Road will follow detour signs to the northbound frontage road. Drivers are advised to follow the detour signs to northbound I-35 frontage road to Northeast I-410 Loop. After keeping left to the southbound I-35 frontage road, drivers will be able to enter the southbound I-35 mainlanes north of Walzem Road and then access the southbound I-35 frontage road from the Eisenhauer Road exit.
Southbound I-35 frontage road entrance ramp to southbound I-410 South
Southbound I-35 frontage road entrance ramp to I-410 South will be closed from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Jan. 5-9 for bridge work, but the ramp connecting southbound I-35 mainlanes to I-410 South will remain open.
According to the news release, drivers on southbound I-35 frontage road seeking to enter I-410 South will follow the detour signs to George Beach Ave., turn through the intersection and enter northbound I-35 frontage road. Afterwards, the driver will transition to the southbound I-410 frontage road.
