In addition to San Juan, Spirit Airlines will have seasonal flights to Miami, New Orleans and Tampa, Florida.
“More than two years ago, Spirit Airlines launched service to San Antonio International Airport with two destinations”, said Jesus Saenz, director of airports for the city of San Antonio Aviation Department. “With the support of the community, Spirit has grown substantially, and we are thrilled to see air service continue to expand at SAT.”
Service to San Juan will begin on March 5 and will be available three to four days a week year-round. The flight will depart SA Airport at 4:37 p.m. and arrive in San Juan at 11:37 p.m. The return flight will leave San Juan at 11:12 a.m. and will arrive in San Antonio at 3:32 p.m.
To give flyers more options during spring break, Spirit Airlines will offer seasonal service to New Orleans from Feb. 20-March 18 and seasonal service to Miami from March 5-17. Seasonal service to Tampa will resume on March 6 and continue through March 18.
Additionally, the airline will also launch nonstop service to Atlanta beginning April 9.
