What you need to know
Several roadways and exits will be closed for roadway work. Drivers should use alternative routes due to congestion caused by construction.
I-35 from FM 1518 to Loop 1604:
- There will be a full closure of westbound Loop 1604 frontage road at Agora Parkway to northbound I-35 frontage road at Forum Access Road and a full closure of northbound I-35 collector ramp from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-17 for bridge column and cap work.
- Three lanes, an exit ramp and an entrance ramp from Forum Parkway to Evans Road on northbound I-35 will be closed from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-19 for bridge column and cap work.
- There will be a full closure of northbound I-35 frontage road from Forum Parkway to Forum Access Road from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-17 for bridge cap and column work.
- There will be a full closure of northbound I-35 collector ramp at Loop 1604 interchange, northbound I-35 frontage road at Pat Booker Road, and westbound Loop 1604 frontage road at Agora Parkway to northbound I-35 frontage road at Forum Parkway from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column and cap work.
- The left lane of southbound I-35 frontage road from Forum Parkway to Old Austin Road for bridge and roadway work until May 25 for construction work.
- The right lane of the connector ramp of I-35 southbound to Loop 1604 westbound will be closed until May 25 for construction work.
- There will be a full closure of southbound I-35 frontage road from Retama Parkway to Olympia Parkway from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-17 for bridge column work.
- There will be a full closure of southbound I-35 frontage road from Old Austin Road to Forum Parkway from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-17 for bridge deck work.
- There will be a full closure of southbound I-35 frontage road from Corporate Drive to Evans Road and full closure of eastbound and westbound lanes of Evans Road at I-35 intersection from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column and cap work.
- There will be a full closure on southbound I-35 frontage road, exit ramp from Evans Road to Arcadia Drive, full closure of northbound to southbound turnaround at Evans Road at I-35 intersection and full closure on the westbound lanes on Evans Road at I-35 intersection from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-19 for bridge column and cap work.
- There will be a full closure on westbound I-35 collector ramp and northbound I-35 to westbound Loop 1604 connector ramp from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for deck, overhangs, column work.
- There will be a full closure on southbound I-35 to westbound Loop 1604 connector ramp from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for deck, overhangs, column work.
- There will be a full closure on eastbound frontage road from entrance ramp to IKEA-RBFCU Parkway from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for deck, overhangs, column work.
- There will be a full closure of northbound and southbound lanes of IKEA-RBFCU Parkway at Loop 1604, and an exit ramp closure to Olympia Parkway from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for deck, overhangs and column work.
- There will be a full closure of southbound I-35 frontage road from Arcadia Drive to Olympia Parkway from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column, cap and deck work.
- There will be a full closure of the westbound Loop 1604 collector ramp at I-35 interchange from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column, cap and deck work.
- There will be a full closure of the northbound I-35 connector ramp to westbound Loop 1604 mainlanes from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column, cap and deck work.
- There will be a full closure of the southbound I-35 connector ramp to westbound Loop 1604 mainlanes from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column, cap and deck work.
- There will be a full closure of eastbound Loop 1604 frontage road from IKEA-RBFCU Parkway exit ramp to IKEA-RBFCU Parkway and a full closure of northbound and southbound lanes of IKEA-RBFCU Parkway at Loop 1604 from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Dec. 15-21 for bridge column, cap and deck work.
