As part of Segment 2 of the Loop 1604 North Expansion project, the Texas Department of Transportation has confirmed a series of highway closures at the Loop 1604 and I-10 interchange from Oct. 25-Nov. 25 for the installation of steel beams.
In a nutshell
The lane closures range from full closures on both eastbound and westbound I-10 and westbound and eastbound North Loop 1604, as well as partial closures of lanes and ramps of a single direction. There will be more extensive closures at nighttime.
Weekend closures are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Fridays and end at 5 a.m. on Mondays. Law enforcement will direct traffic through the intersections and access to businesses will remain open.
