Current situation
According to Texas Department of Transportation representatives, work crews will close the Loop 1604 eastbound main lanes from Stone Oak Parkway to the Gold Canyon Road entrance ramp 9 p.m.-5 a.m. daily through May 10.
The westbound Loop 1604 main lanes from US 281 to Stone Oak Parkway, also, will be closed during the same time period.

The nightly closure of these two portions began April 28 to allow work crews to repave area roadways.
TxDOT officials said motorists heading eastbound on the Loop 1604 main lanes here will be required to use the Stone Oak Parkway exit ramp and continue on the eastbound frontage road lanes to re-enter the eastbound Loop 1604 main lanes at the entrance ramp east of Gold Canyon Road.
People driving the westbound main lanes will use the US 281 exit ramp and continue on the westbound frontage road lanes to re-enter the westbound Loop 1604 main lanes at the entrance ramp west of Stone Oak Parkway.
