Family Care Center, a new outpatient clinic providing psychiatric care and therapy services, opened its doors in Stone Oak on Aug. 19.

The details

The Family Care Center serves children, adolescents, adults and couples. The clinic’s services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management and FDA-approved transcranial magnetic stimulation, TMS, for treatment-resistant depression in adults and teens.

According to a news release, the clinic serves patients who have faced barriers for timely and effective mental health support.

“With the opening of our new clinic in Stone Oak, we’re bringing high-quality mental health care closer to home—removing barriers and providing timely, effective support,” said Chris Ivany, chief executive officer of Family Care Center. “By offering a full spectrum of treatment options and accepting most insurance plans, we remain committed to making mental health care more accessible and impactful for individuals and families across Bexar County and the surrounding communities.”

Stone Oak is also home to Family Care Center’s Center of Excellence, which leads clinical innovation and research for TMS treatment across all Family Care Center locations.

“Texans deserve better access to mental health services, and we’re proud to be part of the solution,” said Jessica Miller, regional director. “Patients can visit their therapist, psychiatrist, and other mental health providers under one roof, with appointments in days, not months. This is care where and when you need it.”

The Stone Oak clinic is now accepting new patients of all ages.
