Methodist Hospital | Stone Oak will undergo a $104 million expansion project in fall 2025.

The gist

Slated to be completed early 2027, the project will include adding 54 beds, which will raise the total bed count to 299, and 123 new surface parking spaces. It also includes adding a fifth and sixth floor to the hospital’s west tower, expanding and renovating the hospital’s kitchen and expanding the central supply and lab.

In the west tower, the hospital will add 40 medical telemetry units on the fifth floor and 14 critical care ICU beds on the sixth floor. Additionally, the expansion will create over 65 new positions at the hospital.
