According to a news release, Beaver most recently served as CEO at Methodist Hospital Northeast in Live Oak, and has more than 24 years of leadership experience in the health care industry.
Beaver took the leadership reins at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak on April 16, replacing Jeff Wilson, who in February was announced as the new president of Trident Health in South Carolina.
Wilson spent nearly three years as CEO at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak where he oversaw $34 million-plus in initiatives to expand the number of operating rooms and catheterization laboratory space, and a $78 million tower expansion project to enhance services at the north central San Antonio facility.

The release states that Beaver joined Methodist Hospital Northeast in 2014, leading various improvement efforts there, including the addition of 60 inpatient beds, a hybrid operating room, an electrophysiology lab, a new medical office building with an outpatient surgery center, and three freestanding emergency departments.
Beaver also oversaw expansion of the 9,000-square-foot emergency department and a parking garage at Methodist Hospital Northeast in an area that is experiencing population and commercial growth, Methodist Healthcare officials said.
