San Antonio city officials said they are now accepting, through April 30, applications for a grant through the city’s Climate Ready Community Action Fund.

The background

According to a Feb. 23 news release, grants of up to $20,000 are being offered through the program to leaders of faith-based organizations, community groups, neighborhood associations, nonprofit organizations and small local businesses.

City government representatives said they are seeking proposals for projects within San Antonio city limits designed to produce a positive impact on the applicant’s community and contribute to a more ecologically sustainable future for all residents.
