With all precincts reporting in Bexar County, Sonia Jasso is projected to win the NISD Board of Trustees District 2 seat, Laura Lee Zapata is projected to win the District 5 seat, Carol Harle is projected to win the District 6 race and Karen Freeman is projects to win the District 7. Jasso won with 2,750 votes, or 50.55%, Zapata with 3,137 votes, or 54.56%, Harle with 3,458 votes, or 58.20%, and Freeman with 2,112 votes, or 50.61%.

Unofficial early voting results for the May 3 election show Sonia Jasso, Laura Lee Zapata, Carol Harle and Karen Freeman leading in the Northside ISD Board of Trustees Districts 2, 5, 6 and 7, respectively.

District 2


Jasso is leading with 2,129 votes, or 51.43%, followed by incumbent Homer Guevara Jr. with 875 votes, or 21.14%, Richard Delgado Jr. with 657 votes, or 15.87%, and Mary Olison with 479 votes or 11.57%.

District 5

Zapata is leading with 2,367 votes, or 55.19%, with incumbent Corinne Saldana with 1,922 votes, or 44.81%.

District 6


Incumbent Harle is leading with 2,556 votes, or 57.52%. Opponent Nicolette Maranan Ardiente has 1,888 votes, or 42.48%.

District 7

Incumbent Freeman leads with 1,799 votes, or 51.77%. Opponent Larissa Martinez has 1,676 votes, or 48.23%.

As of press time,181 out of 246 polling centers have reported results.
