Voters in North San Antonio can cast their ballot for the Nov. 5 election during the early voting period from Oct. 21-Nov. 1.

What you need to know

Bexar County residents can cast their votes at one of 50 early voting locations countywide, including eight locations in North San Antonio. For a full list of voting locations, as well as updates on wait times at each location, visit www.bexar.org/2237/early-vote-information.

Polling location operating hours vary, according to the Bexar County Election Office’s website, and are as follows:
  • Oct. 21-25: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Oct. 26: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Oct. 27: noon-6 p.m.
  • Oct. 28-Nov. 1: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.


On the ballot


Ballots will feature several federal and state races as well as county races, which include Bexar County sheriff and Bexar County Precinct 3 commissioner.

San Antonio residents will also consider six city charter proposals that, if passed, would change term limits and compensation for the mayor and council members, remove term limits and change compensation for the city manager, allow city employees to participate in political activity, add a definition of “conflicts of interest” to the city charter, and clean up or remove archaic language in the city charter as well as remove old statues that have been long superseded by state law.

Looking ahead


Election Day is set for Nov. 5, and voting locations will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., according to the Texas secretary of state’s website. Registered voters will be able to cast their ballot at any location countywide on Election Day.
