Offering handmade pasta daily, the Italian eatery’s menu also features a wide selection of appetizers, salads, pizza and signature dishes. Appetizers include eggplant and ‘nduja croquettes, shrimp and calamari, and Italian Saganaki, which is grilled ciabatta with imported Kefalotyri cheese flambeed table-side. Signature dishes include Nonna’s baked cannelloni, NY strip steak, pork rollatini and gnocchi and 10-layer lasagna, according to the Sicilian Butcher website.
The restaurant is owned by Chef Joey Maggiore and his wife, Cristina, with recipes inspired by Joey's father, James Beard, and award-winning Chef Tomaso Maggiore, who left Sicily at 20 and went on to found over 50 restaurants.
