Officials with a San Antonio-based technology services company have announced plans to expand in 10 cities in Texas.

The gist

DOCUmation, which specializes in integrated print, software, voice and IT solutions, has been based in San Antonio for more than 30 years. It is a privately held, family-owned company led by third-generation brothers and co-presidents Hunter and Preston Woolfolk, according to a company news release.

The details

Plans call for expansion to Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Harlingen, Houston, Kerrville, Lubbock and Midland. Company officials said in the release the expansion is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the rapid demand for technology innovation in Texas and beyond.

DOCUmation’s services have been expanded to serve various industries, including education, health care, legal financing and manufacturing.

What they’re saying

"While we will always be proud to call San Antonio home, there is a growing demand for innovative technology solutions outside DOCUmation’s founding service area—and we are ready to meet that need with the same best-in-class service we’ve become known for,” Preston Woolfolk said in a statement.

"This expansion of the DOCUmation footprint also creates the opportunity to positively impact even more communities in the areas we serve. Philanthropy has always been at the heart of our organization, and giving back to the people, places and organizations doing great work in the world is a foundational part of our story—now and for generations to come," Hunter Woolfolk said in a statement.
