Officials with San Antonio-based commercial real estate developer Worth & Associates announced Feb. 28 that local company KCI Technologies will move its headquarters from San Pedro Avenue to the Inwood Village II office building that is under construction in the North San Antonio neighborhood of Inwood.

According to a news release, construction on the two-story, 74,265-square-foot office building at 2806 W. Bitters Road, within the Inwood Village Business Park, is slated for completion this summer.

Officials with KCI, an engineering, surveying and construction management firm, said their company intends to anchor Inwood Village II by leasing 23,000 square feet of office space beginning this summer.

“Inwood Village offers the perfect central location to accommodate our growing San Antonio office,” said Kyle Gass, KCI vice president of operations in Texas, in a statement. “Worth & Associates is developing a state-of-the-art building with numerous first-class amenities, and we look forward to creating a continued long-standing relationship with them. We feel that this office will elevate the work experience for our current team members and attract talented professionals to KCI.”

Clint Worth, Worth & Associates president of development and leasing, said his firm is committed to serving the north central side of San Antonio and fulfilling demand within this area through the expansion of Inwood Village Business Park.

“Inwood Village Business Park offers unparalleled buildings and amenities, and the addition of KCI as an anchor tenant will continue to add tremendous prestige to this business park development and Inwood Village II,” Worth said in a statement.

The local office of commercial real estate firm CBRE Group facilitated KCI’s lease agreement for Inwood Village II, which will provide two conference centers, a tenant lounge, a courtyard, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, picnic areas, an outdoor kitchen, and an outdoor patio and deck, the release said.
