San Antonio Charter Moms's School Discovery Day at the DoSeum

The event will feature over 40 schools for parents to learn about, including San Antonio’s top public, charter and private schools. Attendees can investigate different models, such as public charter schools, in-district charter schools, magnet schools, private schools and homeschooling. Families will also be able to learn about different models, including classical education, STEM, dual language, college and career readiness and child-centered learning. Entertainment includes a musical performance from The AM Project, a mobile petting zoo and robotic team demonstrations.The Dusty Diamond pop-up bar at High Praise Rooftop Bar


The InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk is hosting a rodeo-themed pop-up bar at its High Praise Rooftop Bar. Decked in western decor, the pop-up bar will offer 10 speciality cocktails and a curated menu consisting of elevated takes on Southern fare. Entertainment includes mechanical bull rides and lassoing a “steed”. On select dates, attendees will receive a take-home souvenir with hat branding and bandana embroidery provided by Hat Bar San Antonio and specialty jewelry by Kendra Scott. Additionally, the pop-up bar partnered with Tried and True Leather to offer high-quality handmade leather works and Tecovas, which can be branded and embroidered.

“Seeing Stars in Dixie” performance at Boerne Community Theatre

The Boerne Community Theatre is holding performances of “Seeing Stars in Dixie,” a romantic comedy by Ron Osborne. The story follows the uproar in 1956 Natchez, Mississippi, as locals attempt to meet two Hollywood icons who are in town filming “Raintree County” and land a role in the movie.

Speed puzzling competition

Patrick Heath Public Library will host a speed puzzle competition in celebration of National Puzzle Day. Participants can test their puzzle skills in teams of four or those who register individually can be matched with a team. The event will have prizes and snacks.New Braunfels

Live music by The Tubameisters at Krause’s Cafe


The quartet will perform at Krause’s Cafe at 6 p.m. The Tubameisters play traditional music from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Mexico, and other countries, with vocals offered in six languages. The band's playlist also includes pop, country, and other genres.

Das Dreizehn.Eins half marathon and 5K

The third annual marathon event will start at Prince Solms Park and route participants to scenic sites in New Braunfels in Gruene, Landa Park and Comal River Bridge and back to Prince Solms Park. Runners can stay to enjoy live music and other activities.
