Blue Cares, the San Antonio Police Officers Association community outreach program, is collecting and donating personal care and hygiene products for the We Care Kit program through Aug. 18.
Items may be dropped at the SAPOA headquarters, 1939 N. Loop 410 E., Ste 300, and the Blue Cares Office, 6993 Alamo Downs Parkway.
Collected items will be donated to local high schools for the 2023-24 school year, according to a news release.
Blue Cares and local educators recognized the need for access to personal hygiene care for students. We Cares Kits include everyday hygiene items, such as deodorant, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste and lotion.
