A local cultural center and heritage museum is celebrating four decades of education, events and historical preservation in Boerne.

The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a Power of the Past event on March 7.
Along with an antique car and tractor show, the festivities will include live music, local vendors, food and games, according to their website.
The top 30 vehicles will receive a trophy as part of the car show.
The museum was established in 1986 as a nonprofit organization to help educate residents on the agricultural heritage and history of the Hill Country, according to its website. It’s located next to Boerne City Park at 102 City Park Road.

The AgriCultural Museum has a collection of antique farm equipment and tractors, plus live demonstrations and classes from blacksmiths and dutch oven cooks.
There are also yearly events such as tractor pulls, antique car shows, live bluegrass jams, a pumpkin patch and more.
