Recently, EMBREY began offering build-to-rent communities of low-density developments of duplexes and townhomes. Units include individual yards, private garages and amenities like pools, clubhouses, fitness centers, dog parks and full-service management.
Founded in 1974 by Walter Embrey, the company began its first construction project in 1976, and developed the Northcross Park in San Antonio in 1977, according to its website. In 1985, the company began developing properties outside of Texas. Currently, the company has 500 team members working on projects in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida.
