The Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country, located at 4831 FM 2673, Canyon Lake, celebrated its 25-year anniversary March 2.

The details

The museum—which opened in 2000—is dedicated to the collection, conservation, preservation and display of materials associated with the cultural history of the Texas Hill Country, according to the museum's board of directors.

The Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country is primarily run by volunteers.

The museum offers guided tours, Fossil Ridge Tours, spring break and summer camps for kids and other educational events. One of its main attractions are the hundreds of dinosaur tracks displayed.
