The decision allows Texas Tractor Country to expand its parking and sales operations at 1182 and 1212 Old FM 306, James Ingalls—representing Texas Tractor Country—said during a Jan. 13 city council meeting.

Texas Tractor Country sells lawn equipment, tractors, ATVs and trailers, according to its website.

Ingalls said the rezoning would help meet customer demand as the business had outgrown its parking capacity. The rezoning will also help maintain smooth operations and include a new access route, where vehicles will enter only from FM 306, he added.

Next steps

Development permits and site plans will be reviewed in the coming weeks, said Christopher Looney, director of the planning and development services department.
