Stars & Stripes Salute at The Alamo

This free community event has family activities, food trucks, live music with the U.S. Air Force Band of the West and will close with a fireworks show. Family activities run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., live music from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

July 4 Patriotic Parade and Program

The parade will allow guests to celebrate America’s birthday in downtown New Braunfels, followed by a patriotic musical program on Main Plaza. The parade will begin on Castell Avenue and Bridge Street, and will end at Seguin Avenue and Zink Street.Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular

Fireworks are fired over Landa Lake and are viewable throughout Landa Park, the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs, and the Fredericksburg Baseball Fields. Festivities begin with the final Live at Landa concert featuring the J Abram Band, and visitors will see the RE/MAX Skydiving Team parachuting into the golf course ahead of fireworks.Boerne/Fair Oaks Ranch

Flag Run 5K


This family-friendly race invites participants of all ages for either a 5K run or one-mile walk. Prizes go to those carrying a full standard size American flag. Each runner receives a t-shirt and finisher medal. Proceeds go to the Boerne Fire Department.Fireworks Watching at St. Peter

An evening of patriotic festivities at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church’s main campus includes a flag ceremony, live music from the Boerne Village Band and complimentary food.

Fair Oaks Ranch Fourth of July Celebration

City of Selma Fireworks Show

Kick off the weekend with a spectacular fireworks show at Retama Park. Fireworks will start after the last horse race of the evening, with live races beginning at 5:30 p.m. Parking is free.Let Freedom Run 5K

Before the City of Schertz annual parade, runners and walkers can don their patriotic gear for the 5K course. A chip-timed event with a professional race announcer, there will be patriotic shirts and custom medals handed out. Food and beverages at the finish line. A portion of proceeds will benefit Schertz Parks and Recreation.

The event will include live music from Gunpowder Soup, a carnival and amusement rides at Thulemeyer Park, and a fireworks show at Pickrell Park at 9:15 p.m. Carnival wristbands are $25, amusement rides will be between $3-$5 without a wristband
