English Dance S.A. will host dance lessons at the Memorial Library. English County Dances, dating from the 1500s to the 1820s, range from elegant court dances to circle and square dances.

The San Antonio Botanical Garden and Alamo City Arts will host a free all-day music festival featuring over a dozen musical performances. The lineup for the event will include performances by the Heart of Texas Concert Band, Alamo City Brass Collective, Alamo City Saxophones, Mariachi Gallos de Oro, Electric Gremlin, Alamo City Dance Company and more. Pre-registration is required, according to the news release.

Music and Movies In The Park

Make Music Day New Braunfels

The Randy Rogers Family Foundation will host a reception at Lost and Found in downtown New Braunfels, to reveal the official nonprofit beneficiary of proceeds from the inaugural Pickleball Jam. At 6 p.m. immediately following the announcement, team registration and tickets for the tournament will be available to purchase. Pickleball Jam 2025 will be held October 5, with a pickleball tournament managed by John Newcombe Country Club staff taking place on four asphalt courts set up in the Park Haus surface lot, according to a news release. Sourdough Workshop

Herff Farm in Boerne will host a hands-on workshop for attendees to learn the history, science and art of making sourdough bread. Participants will take a mixing bowl, Dutch whisk, wooden spoon, kitchen towel, sourdough loaf and sourdough starter home with them after the workshop.
