Cry me a Cockroach

The Cry Me a Cockroach fundraiser lets guests symbolically name a cockroach, rodent or veggie after their ex, before serving them as a treat for the San Antonio Zoo’s residents on Valentine’s Day as a way to fund wildlife conservation efforts. The Briscoe will be celebrating a special Valentine’s Day and Día del Amor y la Amistad evening with San Antonio-based international artist Gio DiZurita to create a painting inspired by love and friendship. Participants will paint an acrylic painting in a hands-on session with DiZurita as she guides guests through a take-home work of art.
