Dovetail, a 62-unit condominium development located at 630 and 634 Central Parkway in New Braunfels, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 11.

The development aims to add new options to the New Braunfels housing market as a lifestyle-focused community, emphasizing maintenance-free living, walkability and thoughtfully designed, functional spaces, said Liam Caruana, Dovetail Condominiums sales manager.

About the project

Construction for Dovetail began in September 2024. The project was developed by GBMC Communities, a New Braunfels-based urban infill developer that specializes in lock-and-leave condominium communities, as previously reported by Community Impact.

The condominium community offers resort-style amenities, including a resort-style pool, outdoor kitchen, silo lounge and an off-leash dog park. Dovetail has move-in ready residences ranging from studio to three-bedroom floor plans, with prices ranging from $200,000-$500,000, Caruana told Community Impact.

“Dovetail distinguishes itself as the area’s premier urban infill condominium community, offering high-end finishes, a lock-and-leave lifestyle and direct access to shops, restaurants and local attractions,” Caurana said.

The inspiration

The name “Dovetail” was inspired by the traditional woodworking dovetail joint, which symbolizes strength, precision and craftsmanship, as previously reported by Community Impact.
