KGNB/KNBT Radio, located at 1540 N. Loop 337, will celebrate its 75th anniversary of broadcasting in New Braunfels on April 21, according to a news release.

The independently-owned-and-operated radio station has been in operation since the 1950s, originally broadcasting on AM 1420 and then added FM 103.1. KGNB/KNBT Radio was originally located at 186 S. Castell Ave., before moving to its current location at 1540 Loop 337 in the '60s, the news release states.

To celebrate its business anniversary, KGNB/KNBT will hold a birthday party April 21 at Gruene Hall from 5-8 p.m.. The event is free and open to the public, the news release states.
