On Jan. 30, Methodist Hospital Texsan announced the appointment of Sharleen Betancourt as the hospital’s new chief nursing officer.

According to a news release, Betancourt has over two decades of experience in leadership positions within HCA Healthcare.
Prior to her taking the position at Methodist Hospital Texsan, Betancourt served as the assistant chief nursing officer at Las Palmas Medical Center, where she led large nursing teams across multiple clinical areas, the release states.
