The city of San Antonio is inviting residents to a series of public meetings to gather their thoughts on the local government's efforts to craft a budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25.

Local officials said the series of meetings are designed to discuss the budgeting process ahead. City staff and City Council members will convene several times in public in August to build a proposed 2024-25 operating budget.
Local officials will also use the meetings to get feedback from residents and answer questions about budgeting matters, including how the budget supports basic operations such as public safety, infrastructure, animal control, and parks and recreation.
