The City of San Antonio Neighborhood and Housing Services Department and Texas True Tax are co-hosting a series of free property tax help workshops from April 22-May 14.

According to a news release, city officials will host nine in-person and one virtual workshop designed to teach homeowners about exemptions and how to appeal for lower property taxes.
Workshops will begin with a presentation by Texas True Tax, which will cover tax exemptions available to homeowners and how to prepare for a tax protest. Additionally, attendees can receive one-on-one help on completing forms, answering questions and filing on site with the Bexar Appraisal District.
