A runoff election will be held May 26 for the Guadalupe County Precinct 4 commissioner seat.
With all voting precincts reporting, Stephen Germann leads with 1,939 votes, or 45.04% of the vote. Joel Hicks is in second with 1,264 votes, or 29.36% of the vote, while Mark Allen has received 1,102 votes, or 25.6% of the vote.
Since no candidate during the primary received over 50% of the vote for this position, a runoff election between the top two performers will be held May 26, according to the Guadalupe County voting charter.

Guadalupe County has released the early voting totals for the county commissioner Precinct 4 Republican primary race.
What you need to know
Republican candidates Joel Hicks, Mark Allen and incumbent Stephen Germann are vying for the Guadalupe County Precinct 4 seat in the March 3 primary elections.
According to unofficial early voting results, Germann leads with 1,107 votes, or 44.33% of the vote. Hicks is in second with 755 votes, or 30.24% of the vote, while Allen has received 635 votes, or 25.43% of the vote.
Precinct 4 covers a large southwestern portion of Guadalupe County near Cibolo, according to the county's website.
Since there are no Democratic candidates running for this position, the winner of the Republican primary will be uncontested during the November general elections, according to the Guadalupe County voting charter.
However, if no candidate during the primaries receives over 50% of the vote for this position, a runoff election will be held on May 26.
What else?
In early voting, there were 2,497 ballots cast countywide for the Guadalupe County commissioner, Precinct 4 race.
Totals from ballots cast March 3 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
