A new commissioner has been elected for Precinct 2 in Guadalupe County.
With all precincts reporting, Ronnie Clark received 1,773 votes, or 54.74% of votes. His opponent—Noah Webster—received 1,466 votes, or 45.26% of votes, according to unofficial voting results from Guadalupe County.
"My top priorities are safety and security," Clark told Community Impact. "I will still be representing my people."

Guadalupe County has begun releasing election day results.
With 5 of 36 voter precincts reporting, Ronnie Clark still leads with 1,088 votes, or 52.13% of votes. His opponent—Noah Webster—has received 999 votes, or 47.87% of votes, according to unofficial voting results from Guadalupe County.

Guadalupe County has released the early voting totals for the Precinct 2 county commissioner Republican primary race.
What you need to know
Republican candidates Ronnie Clark and Noah Webster are vying for the Guadalupe County Precinct 2 commissioner seat in the March 3 primary elections.
According to unofficial early voting results, Clark leads with 844 votes, or 50.4% of the vote. Webster has received 830 votes, or 49.6% of the vote.
Precinct 2 covers northeastern portions of the county, closest to New Braunfels, according to the county's website.
Since there are no Democratic candidates running for this position, the winner of the Republican primary will be uncontested during the November general elections, according to the Guadalupe County voting charter.
What else?
In early voting, there were 1,674 ballots cast countywide for the Guadalupe County Precinct 2 commissioner race.
Totals from ballots cast March 3 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 p.m., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
