Mattenga's Pizzeria has opened a new food truck to serve a larger portion of the New Braunfels area, co-owner Matthew Stanfield said. The pizza chain sells classic 10-inch personal pan pizzas.
This new eatery features both a Mexican-inspired tapas menu and a selection of international wines. There’s also a latin jazz stage and live musical performances from local musicians every week.
The chain sells Mexican-inspired food, including customizable burritos, bowls, salads and more. In December, the chain launched a protein-focused menu, offering a selection of high-protein items.
The new, 4,407-square-foot location will have a drive-thru service lane, according to an email from Donna Lowder, manager of Live Oak's economic development corporation. The chain sells specialty sandwiches, salads, pastas and soups.
