Ammann Road
Project: The project includes a full-depth reconstruction, roadway widening to include a 2ft buffer on either side, drainage improvements and utility adjustments.
Update: Following the update of the Post Oak development agreement, the lower corner of Ammann Road will be softened during construction. Alongside the road project, a Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Water Line is being extended to a water storage facility and water treatment plant near the Kendall County line.

Project: The project will widen the street to three lanes, including a continuous center turn lane from Esser Road to Main Street, and construct a ten-foot shared-use path on the north side of the road with a five-foot sidewalk on the south side.
Update: The two low water crossings on Adler Road at No Name Creek and Currey Creek were frequently overtopped, creating unsafe conditions for the public and emergency services. Culvert construction began in 2025, and Construction on the road is planned to begin in 2026.

Project: The first phase focused on utility relocation work, while the second phase will construct a roundabout at the intersection.
Update: Roundabout construction is expected to begin during the Summer, while Boerne ISD students are not in school. The roundabout is expected to be completed by the start of the 2026-27 school year.

Project: Old Fredericksburg Road is planned for reconstruction, with the project cost shared between the city of Fair Oaks Ranch and Bexar County. The repair would include a mill and overlay alongside improvements to address significant potholes and deterioration.
Update: Fair Oaks Ranch City Council on Dec. 4 approved funding for the project. Bexar County commissioners are expected to consider the ILA on Feb. 17, and construction is scheduled to begin in March or April.

Project: The $4.9 million Dietz Elkhorn project will reconstruct the roadway while adding new shoulders for pedestrians, bikes and carts. Construction will span from Fair Oaks Parkway to FM 3351.
Update: In May, a Utility Service Agreement between the city of Fair Oaks Ranch and AD Acquisitions, LLC was approved, providing water and wastewater services for a new residential development off Ralph Fair Road. Due to the agreement, the project was postponed until after the utility expansion. The project is expected to take over a year to complete.
