The cities of Fair Oaks Ranch and Boerne are planning capital improvements to local roads and sidewalks. Check out the latest updates on these four transportation projects.

Ongoing projects

Willow Wind Drive/Rolling Acres Trail

Project: The project aims to replace water lines that have a history of breaks. Replacing the lines will reduce operational and maintenance costs for the city and help minimize disruptions to residents who use water from those mains.

Update: Work on Willow Wind Drive was completed, while construction continues on Redbud Hill. Rolling Acres Trail is planned for construction in December, with completion in early 2026. Construction may cause a brief delay in traffic flow while oncoming vehicles pass through the work zones, but city staff expects minimal disruption to residents, according to the city website.
